The Complete IVF Pathway — Step by Step

Free Online Consultation
Complete our medical form. Within 24 hours, a fertility nurse coordinator (available in Romanian, English, Arabic) reviews your history and schedules a video call with our lead embryologist.

Remote Investigations
Your local GP or gynaecologist performs: AMH blood test, AFC ultrasound, semen analysis (partner), genetic karyotyping if indicated. You upload results to our secure patient portal.

Personalised Protocol Design
Our medical team designs your ovarian stimulation protocol. Medications are shipped to your home address in Romania/UK or collected at Istanbul Atatürk Medical Hub before travel.

Travel to Istanbul (Day 1)
Meva VIP transfer from Istanbul Airport to our partner 5-star hotel (Sheraton Istanbul City Center or equivalent). Pre-travel briefing pack in your language.

Monitoring at Istanbul HUB (Days 2–8)
Daily ultrasound monitoring at our Istanbul clinic to track follicular growth. Trigger injection administered at optimal timing.

Flight to Cyprus (Day 9)
Meva arranges your Pegasus/Turkish Airlines flight to Ercan Airport, Northern Cyprus (1.5 hrs). VIP airport transfer to our partner hotel in Lefkoşa.

Egg Retrieval (Day 10)
Performed under light sedation at our fully equipped IVF theatre. Partner provides sperm sample on the same day. ICSI performed by senior embryologist.

Embryo Culture & Testing (Days 10–15)
Embryos are cultured in Miri® time-lapse incubators. On Day 5, PGT-A biopsy performed if indicated. NGS results returned within 7–10 days.

Embryo Transfer or Vitrification (Day 15)
If a fresh transfer is planned, the highest-scored euploid embryo is transferred. Remaining viable embryos are vitrified for future cycles.

Return Home & Pregnancy Test
You return to Romania/UK on Day 16. Beta hCG blood test at your local lab on Day 28. Your Meva coordinator reviews results with you via video call.
Legal Framework in Northern Cyprus
Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has one of Europe's most patient-friendly IVF legal frameworks: Anonymous and known egg/sperm donation is permitted; Embryo adoption (double donation) is legal; There is no legal limit on the number of embryos created per cycle; Surrogacy is currently not practiced at Meva Clinic Cyprus.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a visa for Northern Cyprus?+
Most EU (including Romanian) and UK passport holders enter Northern Cyprus via the Republic of Cyprus or direct charter flights visa-free. Turkish visa is not required for EU citizens.
What is included in the all-inclusive package?+
Our packages include: all medical consultations, ovarian monitoring scans, egg retrieval, ICSI procedure, embryo culture, one fresh or frozen embryo transfer, accommodation, and airport transfers in Cyprus.
What happens to my frozen embryos if I live abroad?+
Embryos can be stored at our Cyprus laboratory for up to 5 years (included in standard fee). International embryo transport is possible via IATA-certified cryoshipper to partner clinics in Romania and the UK.
Is there a Romanian-speaking coordinator?+
Yes. Every patient from Romania is assigned a dedicated Romanian-speaking patient coordinator available via WhatsApp, phone, and email.
What if my cycle is cancelled?+
If ovarian response is insufficient and egg retrieval is cancelled, we refund the treatment portion of your fee in full (excluding pre-travel investigations and medication costs).
